Overall the stay here was disappointing. Although the hotel itself is very nice. and the staff was great The room was slightly smaller than expected which was fine but the bathroom doesn't have a real door so it is not completely enclosed. Hope you're very close with whoever you're staying with. Would probably be totally fine if staying alone though. Also since the bathroom was not closed the shower leaked into the room. We had to request more towels everyday to put on the floor. The dining was good but in reality the three dining option in the hotel is really only one. All three spots have the exact same menu. There is also 0 amenities to the hotel. In order to get ice you have to go to the front desk and they give you a small bucket that is not enough ice for two people. We needed a corkscrew one night and we were told there is one for the whole hotel so we had to bring the bottle down, and they would open it. Right outside our window was about 6 dumpsters that were emptied at 7am every morning waking you up. The worst part though was the area. Of a Hilton i expected so much more. The area was so sketchy that we made sure we were back at the hotel before sunset every night and we walked around the block in order to avoid certain areas. The street was gross and the food around it was unsanitary (we saw roaches) the cops were on the same block as the hotel 3 times in the 5 days that we stayed there. I absolutely would not stay here again.

We apologize for the inconvenience with the shower leaking, this is not typical of our rooms and we will be looking further into this issue. The rooftop bar has a different, smaller appetizer menu than the Whiskey Bar and Crimson Diner. If you need more ice next stay, we are able to provide more than one ice bucket or cups of ice as well. We are sorry for the outside noise and would like to better accommodate you next time with a lower, inner facing room. Again, thank you for your honest feedback.

Great place to stay for DC. Right next to China Town gate and really close to the Mall etc. Not luxurious by any means but just exactly what we needed for our trip. Walgreens is next door if you need to stock up on stuff and cheaper food but the hotel’s cafe was excellent also, for breakfast and coffees. Also a very safe place to stay; key access to building, elevators and room.

This is a great budget-friendly hotel right in the heart of Chinatown, directly across from the Chinatown/Gallery Place Metro station. It is a great place to stay if you are visiting solo and will be touring the sites as I did with the Metro so easily accessible and the city's great sites a quick Uber ride or (short to lengthy) walk away. Do be forewarned: the rooms are small, about the size of master bathroom in a nice-sized house (I stayed in a room with a full-sized bed). You don't have much room to maneuver around in, and you don't get any of the bells and whistles--no closet, no dresser, no desk (there is a small side table that doubles as a kind of desk with a chair but it's not really accessible due to the air conditioning unit). The bed has storage underneath on both sides for your luggage. The room did not come with an iron or ironing board standard, and you have to request maid service and ask for what you need. The staff is super friendly and helpful though and work quickly to get you what you ask for. Overall a great stay. I definitely recommend it for the solo traveler.

The room view, and rooms were very small. And i didnt feel that is clearly explained upfront, that rooms are very small.

Great little hotel! Stayed one night in DC to visit friends. The lobby smelled like sewer water. Didn’t eat there. Luckily there are many stores and restaurants nearby. Great price for location. Would recommend.
