Bait and switch

Pros: Helpful staff.
Cons: Hotel's honesty. Shouldn't list rooms it does not have available.
Location: Lots of stores and good places to eat.
Booked a suite. Drove 12 hours to have Thanksgiving dinner with family. Checked in and went to our room. Discovered that it was just a room. Not a suite. Went down to the front desk to have this mistake rectified and was told that it was not a mistake, and that the suites were in another section of the hotel, and that section was under renovation. Was too tired to do anything but sleep that night. But, first thing the next morning called Travelocity, and was booked in another, and much better hotel that very day. Maybe I should have known things were not quite right when the reception area had been stripped down to bare concrete. Stayed at a Microtel hotel before, and enjoyed my stay. Sadly, not this time.

Dirty rooms, unfriendly staff

Nightstand was dirty. Cigarette marks on the tub. Hole in the wall where the door handle went through. When checking out, the girl at the front desk.. when she finally got there...seemed to be annoyed to have to check me out. Also, the hotel lobby was in shambles due to a recent sprinkler system malfunction but I won't hold that against them because that was beyond there control. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Pros: The exterior looked well kept.
Cons: Everything inside needs to be fixed and remodeled and cleaned well. New new mattresses and pillows.
This hotel was nasty. They said they were remodeling and had flooded recently but the building permit posted was from 1-13-17. Our room and bathroom was not clean, the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were horrible and the old curtains had holes in them. The bathroom was dirty as well. I tooks some pictures that I would be happy to send to you. Travelosity needs to know about the condition of this hotel. If it really under a remodel customers should be told this when they make a reservation.

Smelled like a wet dog

The staff seemed nice enough when we checked in, but there was a strange foul odor throughout the hotel. If we were staying more than one night we would have left. Price was a little expensive for what you got.

Nice

Cute small room. When we checked in the room was obviously not finished and was not ready for us to be there. No pillow cases on the pillows and no towels or wash cloths. I asked one of the room attendants and she said they were waiting for them to dry. So she had to come back to our room twice to bring those items. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable.

Convenient to the track

Pros: Convenient to the track and highway.
Cons: Put a security lock on the door. Put a phone in the room. Have some traveler conveniences - lotion, soap, towels.
Location: The race track
You get what you pay for,but this was a bit disappointing. The most important items the room were missing: It had no security lock and no telephone. Although we had cell phones, how were we to get in touch with the front desk in the event of an emergency!? There was no blow dryer, only 2 bath towels and 2 face cloths. 1 bar of soap for the shower and sink. While it was "dirty", it wasn't real clean but the worst item was the window seat cushion - it was disgusting. I wouldn't put my sneakers up there.The TV remote didn't work either.

The beds are very uncomfortable

Beds r terrible!! No bed skirts to hide the old dingy mattresses that had stains..only had 2 towels no hand towel and only 2 wash clothes..we didn't complain though cause we only stayed one nite for NASCAR race..breakfast is cereal muffins coffee and apple juice..Front desk was awesome!!! She had no problems telling us all about the track...

Worst hotel that we have stayed in the past 20 yrs

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: Next to a Home Depot
Check in was disturbing when the clerk sneezed all over us. Room was last updated in the 1980's from what we could see. Stains all over the carpets and drapes. Was to be a non smoking room but stunk of smoke. Cigarette burns on the tub wall next to the toilet as well as the sink. Beds were uncomfortable and sheets and towels were worn out and spreading. Very disappointing since we stay in a Micro Hotel in Florida and it is fine
