Manager very friendly. Newly remodeled. Enjoyed our stay. We had our dog with us and they were very accommodating.

We were very tired upon arrival and immediately changed for bed. Several times there was loud knocking on our door which we did not answer. The front desk called and asked was there anything left in the room and who checked us in (it was her 30 min. prior). Called back asking to leave clothing left out in the hall. We suspected room was left as though someone was coming back. Therefore, sheets were probably not changed. Would NEVER come back.

DISGUSTING - Smelled like cigarettes

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. LOBBY SMELLED LIKE PURE CIGARETTE AND PLACE LOOKED DISGUSTING! First time and last time using Travelocity & booking with Quality Inn. We were travelling due to evacuation from Hurricane Matthew. We called the hotel on Wednesday (we were due to check in that day) by 10am to cancel. They informed me that I needed to call Travelocity to do the cancellation. Upon calling Travelocity, there was a 26 hour waiting time for a customer service rep. I immediately contacted Travelocity on FB and informed them that we needed to cancel our reservation. Communication was completed with both parties BEFORE 11am. Per the reservation: If you cancel or change your plans, please cancel your reservation in accordance with the hotel''s cancellation policies to avoid a no-show charge. Cancellations or changes made after 3:00PM (Eastern Daylight Time (US & Canada)) on Oct 5, 2016 or no-shows are subject to a hotel fee equal to the first night's rate plus taxes and fees. I CALLED HOTEL AND CONTACTED TRAVELOCITY BEFORE 11AM AND NOW I HAVE CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD THAT NEITHER PARTY IS WILLING TO REFUND. NEVER AGAIN!!!

My stay at the Quality Inn in Huntersville, NC

Pros: The price. The breakfast was ok.
Location: The location was not good. We had to go past the road to the hotel 1/4 mile and turn into a shopping center and turn around and come back to it.
The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't get much sleep though because we were facing the I-77 on ramp. Noise all night, every night. On our third night we had to take the stairs to our third floor room because the elevator stopping working. The first night I noticed that the elevator control room door was open and a fan was blowing on the controls. Not a good sign. It was working the next morning though when we checked out. Expected more.

Never Again

Light bulbs out even after asking for 3 days -- couldn't read at bedside. Sink drained so slow you had to brush teeth in increments to let water drain down. Toilet plugged. Upstairs neighbors stomped and ran most of night, then restarted about 0600 in AM. Ceiling stain was nasty looking on room. Ceiling stained and peeling off in breakfast area. Will never stay there again and I'll rethink somewhere else before using Quality Inn again.

This hotel was not what I expected.

Cons: Noisy, Poor breakfast
The room was clean; however, it was very noisy and I found it was hard to rest. I drove up from Florida to do some clean up on my property to sell my house and I couldn't get any rest. When I went down to breakfast the next day, the breakfast consisted of fruit that was shriveled up and the coffee was so muddy it was undrinkable. For the price, I will not stay here again.

Sleepless @ Quality

If you are on the highway side of this hotel as we were forget about sleeping. I was only needing a good nights rest before an all day business meeting and if I got a solid half hour all night I was lucky. The reason there is no noise buffer is evident when you check out the flimsy, ill-fitting windows.Cold air also flows in around the cheap single pane glass that is not even properly installed. The room was clean, bed fine, etc. but for lack of sleep, I can't rate this hotel well and will not stay there again.
