Our one day get away.
To start,
The hospitality upon arrival was great. The room was clean and comfortable.
I called for extra pillows and they never arrived.
The sofa couch, which was used as an extra bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was old and lumpy. I think it would have been better had I just slept on the couch.
The worst was the drapes that would not close all the way. The room was next to a lamp that let the light shine though. That was annoying. I can’t sleep with any light.
The pool was warm, as stated. That was great because it was cold outside. Some pools say they are heated and are still cold.
The breakfast food was good and warm.
At check out, the front desk attendant asked how our stay was and I mentioned my Grand daughter was disappointed the popcorn machine wasn’t operational. She loves popcorn. The attendant apologized and told the children to pick out something from the market. Of course they did and were happy. I was grateful because she didn’t need to do that but her kindness made all the difference to me.
My grandson wants to stay there again. So we will be back in the summer.
