Impeccably Clean and Private Family Getaway!

Rare find!

Take a moment, breathe in the fresh summer air. Summer Breeze is a private, magical cottage that sits directly upon the western shore of Otsego Lake providing spectacular vistas and sunrises.

This single level home opens to a spacious wrap-around deck from which to enjoy blissful lakefront dining, grilling, sunbathing, and the ultimate in relaxation!! The deck was designed with children in mind with 3 gates to keep youngsters away from all water access points.

The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials to create delicious family feasts. We love our sweet kitchen with antique sink and soapstone counters, propane gas range, and pantry refrigerator/freezer, and we think you will too! A new weber grill is yours to use throughout your stay.

Three bedrooms each with queen beds (one is a futon) provide comfortable sleeping for 6 guests.Two of the bedrooms are connected which requires walking through one to access the farthest away.

Our snug cottage has a freshly remodeled bathroom, new cheery paint, and parking for up to 4 cars across the street, roadside.

There are 2 kayaks for your personal use and a dock which will readily accommodate up to a 24 foot boat.

All bed linens and towels are provided, but you may wish to bring your own beach towels. WIFI and cable are provided for your convenience.

Summer Breeze is 5.5 miles north of the village of Cooperstown, 10.5 miles from the Dreams Park ball fields, and a 45 minute drive to the All-Star Village.

*Two pull out twin sofa beds are available, if needed. *No dishwasher or AC. There is an attic fan with humidistat to cool the space.

That view is everything!
Summer Breeze views over Lake Otsego are absolutely breathtaking! The cottage porch and area to lake was also easily accessible. The cottage itself is very quaint and was well stocked. I did not love the narrow parking on the busy road, and there were a few loose steps walking down to house. It was manageable but didn’t love it for my young daughter and aging parents that were with us.

Great Otsego Lake/Cooperstown Experience!
Loved our visit to Summer Breeze - you’re literally right on the Lake - superb swimming and kayaking. Also close to town, the HOF and restaurants but very private once you’re back at the cottage. Look forward to returning.

We loved this cabin! The deck is wonderful. We were able to rent a boat and dock it right on the property dock. The kayaks that were provided were an absolute delight. We had the best time and the fire pit added lots of s'more time. Great stay and great cabin!

We have stayed in Cooperstown for the past 20 years mainly at the Otesaga and have always travelled out from Albany to rent a pontoon boat at Sam Smith’s Boatyard at least once a summer, as well as golf at Leatherstocking. Summer Breeze provided a great location and opportunity to live on the lake, and met every expectation from the photos on the VRBO listing. Brought our own kayaks and used the ones provided for other family members. Great sunrises, always a breeze and the sizable deck overlooking the lake was like another room! The furnishings were in great condition and premises very clean, kitchen well organized and all systems well maintained. Pride of ownership was very evident in every detail in the home. In my opinion this is the best way to “own” a private camp on a pristine, lightly trafficked upstate NY lake for a very fair fixed cost for one week. Hope to be here again next year - would also be a great fall get away site with color on the lake and warm days/cool nights.

Beautiful week in a very nice lake house. Very happy for the most part. Only cons are it was never mentioned you need to leave your vehicles up on the road 35 steps up from the house. May not be suitable for some.
