It was outstandingly clean. The room was simple and pleasant in design, as well as spacious. There was no hair dryer, which I have come to expect. The coffee pot was hidden, and we never figured out how to use it, so we went downstairs for coffee.

Nice hotel in a great area

Nice hotel in a great location! Every staff member we interacted with provided exceptional service. Room was a little smaller than I expected, and there were some weird plumbing noises going on (perhaps related to the unusually cold weather?), but overall our stay was great. The price was very reasonable, with onsite parking garage access as an added bonus. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Disappointing

Pros: Near the university.
Cons: Have staff who care about customers. The manager walked by the tables at speed, asking "everything OK?" but not staying to hear the answer. Why bother
Location: North park with great shops for one thing.
We were charged double the current advertised rate. We booked earlier at a higher rate but the hotel did not respond to our emails nor did the front desk to our requests. The hotel is right next to Central Expressway - nowhere do they warn you that your room is effectively in the middle of a race track. Very noisy. Despite speaking to the kitchen staff, breakfast containers were left open until their scrambled eggs were congealed and cold. All this one expects at a $60 a night motel but not from a $200 a night upscale, otherwise beautiful, hotel. We were so looking forward to this visit and so sad to leave so disappointed.
