The room did not have heat. Had to move rooms and was told the heat was checked before moving us to this room. 2nd room no heat, TV broken, Hair in bathroom. Didn’t want to switch to a 3rd room due to already unpacking with 4 month and 1 year old. Was told the parking would be comped as a service recovery and it was not. The staff however was nice. Area was not as safe as I would have liked for the price.

We were not informed that payment had to be made with a card and they would not accept cash. Also, we were not informed that we would be required to put down a $200 deposit for our room.

Stayed here multiple times. Clean nice apartment style rooms. Up to date decorations. The outside area can be seedy but that’s downtown Dallas though. Valet parking is 30 but waaay cheaper around the corner.

This hotel is a very nice property but they do not take care of it. Our room was not clean, we asked several times for specific issues to be taken care of (peanut butter smeared on walls in kitchen and bathroom, blood on comforter, dirty shower curtain) and nothing was addressed. They also don't answer the phone when you try to call the front desk, housekeeping and security. There were several loud disturbances while I was there with my children and I did not feel safe. I expect much more from a Marriott property. We chose this location because it was reasonable and near touristy sites. Would not go there again.

Free hot breakfast was advertised, but cold juice, bran muffin, greek yogurt, and fruit is what we had. Nail clippings were on the carpet from a previous visit. No mention about valet being the only option for hotel parking. However, there are a couple of options for paid parking. Overall it was pleasant and nice, but don't underestimate how the little things impact an entire stay.
