Great atmosphere, free breakfast, amazing smells, polite staff.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet, lavender field, pool, pets allowed
My husband and I had a lovely weekend getaway at the Blue Inn. The first thing I noticed when I stepped outside of the car was the smell of lavender. The whole time we were on the premises, we were serenaded by that smell and occasionally the live music that was playing at the restaurant on site (mostly 90's rock classics acoustic style; my kinda thing!). The rooms were nicely decorated, bed was super soft and it was really unlike any other place we have stayed. The breakfast was okay (nothing special really, just pastries, cereal and bagels, but what more can you really ask for for free?) The first night, we did dine at the restaurant. I ordered the crab crusted salmon and it was delicious and the service was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Warm and friendly team

Spacious and comfortable room but shoddy construction and appliances- shower curtain pole a tension rod that fell down, microwave door did not close. Did not enjoy breakfasts - blueberry pound cake and pastries every day and ran out of fresh blueberries, peaches looked great but no flavor. Kind of amateurish chef and did not try other meals there. The best part was lavender farm next door, with scent wafting over to outdoor breakfast area. Delightful!
