Poor communication and bugs galore
Communication before and during my stay was poor. Before checking in I went nearly a week before a response was received thanks to VRBO reps. I even contacted his personal number as suggested by VRBO reps and didn’t receive a reply.
Upon entry the home had a weird smell. But not hard to over look. This house is old and it shows. The bugs including spiders were plentiful, on beds and on wall/ceilings. The grass in the yard was high which I’m sure lead to the abundance of bugs. Not to mention the liquid ant bait in the windows. The master bath is so small that you have to rub against the toilet to enter/exit. Probably explains why it was not depicted. The 2nd bath is so dark that you can’t see yourself in the shower. Not to mention the weirdly large shed/outhouse in the backyard. The blinds in the master were broken and that’s the window that faces the neighbors. This made it hard for my family to feel comfortable so we essentially left after the first night. Concerns were voiced but the property owner didn’t budge on working with me to cancel. I definitely won’t return and wouldn’t recommend this place.
