Beautiful room w/perfect views

Pros: Perfect. Very comfy. Felt like home.
Cons: Breakfast was lame.
Location: Beach, shopping, lots of food options.
Loved the room, clean & comfy. The only negative was the breakfast. I've had a full breakfast at cheaper hotels.

Awesome hotel

Only thing is the staff or booking agents should let the guest know about the fog horn that goes off every 15 minutes

Fun Beach Stay

We really enjoyed this hotel. We vacationed with our family of four, (2 kids, 6 & 8 yrs old) and another couple we have been friends with forever(they stayed on 3rd level, Penthouse). We had an ocean front view on the 2nd floor which was fantastic! We stayed the Aug. 23rd weekend. A lot of the schools had already started so it was fairly kid quiet. The fog horn which sounds about every 5 seconds did not bother us at all. We even slept with our balcony door open at night and didnt hear it. Quiet hotel rooms overall. We did pick up some wine and cheese at 5:30 each night. The white wine I had was good. But, I think they could have offered some plates, instead of napkins for the cheese and a real knife instead of plastic. Breakfast was a good selection of homemade baked goods; muffins, coffee cake, danish, bagels/cream cheese, coffee, milk and juice. The selections varied according from day to day. Kids and our friends enjoyed the pool and hot tub spa. I like how they were separated from each other with a fence surrounding each. Views from patio/swim area were wonderful. The area was close to other areas. There is a walking path behind the hotel that will take you to other restaurants (Barbara's Fish Trap which we enjoyed) and Half Moon Brewery which I would NOT recommend due to service and food quality. Overall enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a beach get-away.

My wife and I loved the location.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: not pointed towards ocean.
We did not get an ocean view that we were hoping for, but we were pleased with our room.

Great hotel and very friendly staff

My husband and I loved this hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and professional upon check-in. Would have liked a room with a better view, but unfortunately we had a room on the first floor with only a slight ocean view. The room was very comfortable and clean. The fitness facility could only fit 2-3 people at one time, but who wants to run on a treadmill when you have the outdoors for that. There is a great trail to run on, which I used. We only stayed one night on our way to vacation in San Fran but wished we schedule to stay at least two.
