Roaring Brook is a very nice place off the beaten path, but not by much at all. The new owner is remodeling parts of the resort. We stayed in a remodel room and it was very nice. Our room was across from the pool which was nice. You can signup for horse riding, the horses are beautiful and very healthy.

Unique and charming property that is under new management. We met the new owner who was wonderful and accommodating. He even toured us around all the plans he had for improvements under his new ownership. It all sounds really exciting and we wish them the best of luck. We’ll be back to see all the new things next year.

Great room! It just had no breakfast or restaurant on site or coffee. No microwave in our room. no resort type events. loved fire pit but needs 1 or 2 more. maybe a playground too. No horseback riding as well. You pay resort fees for no resort experience at all. It has so much unused potential and other guests had stated all this as well.

The most disgusting place I have ever stayed at. I walked in to see multiple dark spots on the rug, one of the staff had urinated in the toilet and never flushed it, sheets had spots and dark hair all over them leading me to believe the sheets were never changed from the previous guests. Same with the pillows, found dark hair on a couple of pillows. I could clearly hear neighbors tv, loud walking upstairs. Worst experience ever. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

I like the size of the rooms, I liked how clean everything was, I don’t like how until I arrived at the property that there was no cable or internet. I was not contacted at all before hand about that, and I was surprised that there was no phone or microwave in the room. Overall the stay was good

I was pleasantly surprised with our room. It was very updated, large room with a comfortable king bed. Bathroom was small but very clean!! The grounds were beautiful. Loved the fire pits. We used the outdoor pool and it was so relaxing. Staff was friendly. Not sure why they required masks on people vaccinated but not a big deal. Overall we loved it.
