Enjoyed exterior of the erlowest beautiful. The first day fireplace n jacuzzi did not work. The stopper broken n jets did not work. The Manager did address and explained fireplace is on just seasonally but that they would turn on for our stay. Fireplace only worked for one hour the second day. Second day of stay housekeeping below par. Ice bucket left filled with old water. The housekeeper did not refresh shower. An empty soap box was found etc. I did not realize I would be charged an extra 20.00 for additional order of pancakes and only was allowed to select one item from menu. I had to ASK for the breakfast menu for our second day of stay. Toiletries left for just one person literally just one tiny bottle of shampoo, conditioner, lotion first day only. No form of service recovery offered for inconveniences. Recommend guests are alerted: 1. Fireplace only on in winter 2. You have to ask for extra toiletries n breakfast menu on additional stays. 3. Manager offer some other form of service recovery for problems with room not just offer a downgraded room. 4. Manager check rooms to ensure quality housekeeping service. 5. Upon check out take time to speak to guest who had difficulties with stay Thank you .

Thank you for your review. I did speak to our Maintenance Manager who was in your room with me when we turned the fireplace on and we were not aware it stopped working for you. As we showed you it is based on the temperature of the room. He also was concerned once he put the new stopper in the jacuzzi that it was not working either. The Inn's front desk is staffed 24 hours for whatever extra items our guests require. The other room we offered when we spent some time together on the patio is identical to the room you were in with the exception of the fireplace. I apologize I was not at the front desk when you checked out I would have loved to have spent some more time talking with you. It was a pleasure to meet you both.

Recommend a vanity lighted mirror in bathroom. Prefer view television closer to bed. Customer service outstanding five star all the way. Thank you !

Although our room didn’t have a great view of the lake, it was easy to walk to the balcony of the hotel, or enjoy the outdoor patio. The staff made an effort to ensure we had everything we needed and wanted, and the facility was pure charm and luxury. We loved our jacuzzi and welcome champagne!

Second time staying here and i wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. staff is super friendly. main building is absolutely gorgeous. beds are really comfy.they have kayaks you can take out on lake. fireplace outside. perfection.

The Erlowest really does look and feel like a castle. We enjoyed the beautifully restored decor, the location right on Lake George, the champagne and chocolates in our room, and the delicious breakfast. The staff was friendly and kind. This hotel is close to town, but far enough away to be serene and relaxing. An added bonus was The Boathouse, a great restaurant next door.

Amazing Hotel

Pros: Everything
Cons: None
Location: We had an amazing dinner in the hotel, Went parasailing, and enjoyed the town
Went for an Anniversary weekend getaway. Everything was amazing. Room was big and elegant. Definitely will be going back.
