Of all the cabooses, we actually stayed in a red one, #42. Authentic with modern amenities. My son was flabbergasted. Very comfortable. Warm in 32° and blustery weather. Great experience. Adjoining restaurant. Loads to do and see the surrounding area of Lancaster.

We realize that this time of year that still has winter debris around is normal. What we felt was unsafe was an old wooden box on the pig fence that had the ends of 2 large screws sticking out from a rotten piece of wood that had fallen off. The rest of the property was fine.

If you or a loved one LOVES trains, THIS is the place for you! There are a variety of room types - queen beds with Jacuzzi, bunk beds for families, 2 queens with 2 bathrooms, the list goes on! The restaurant - Casey Jones - is filled with down-home GREAT cooking. Try the Monte Cristo! YUM! The petting zoo was small yet super fun! You've gotta check out this amazing place!

We really enjoyed being able to walk around the property and do different things on site! Besides the uneven flooring in the room everything was great!
