We chose to Uber and not rent a car chiefly due to valet costs. We didn’t perceive Nashville to be like NYC from what we had heard. This was our first Westin stay ever and it was beautiful to the eye. The hardest part about coming out of a pandemic is expectations and service needs. You don’t want to make people go out of their way because it seems selfish and it’s hard to find good staffing. That being said, the hotel cost seemed high for everything to look nice and be in a good location. There’s a saying that goes something like “in a product, you can get quality, service and good pricing but feel lucky if you get 2/3.” We assumed by paying high price, the quality and service would be better….it didn’t feel that way. Nothing went wrong, it just felt like we paid too much and may not return to a Westin in the future. There are other brands that may attract our loyalty. Thanks!!!

We booked an executive king suite through Travelocity upon arriving to our hotel we got checked in things started fantastic! However, we got into our room and we have a traditional room, (NOT HAPPY) The hotel made a comment to us about how they gave us a corner room because they over booked the executive suite! We booked the executive suite because my wife is a nursing mother and they advertised a refrigerator in the room. We took the chance on leaving our little boy with grandma and grandpa to get away and enjoy a little bit of "me" time. However, the hotel staff has been extremely rude they tried to charge us $5 for a coffee, Which isn't a huge deal, BUT being as we paid for a suit, and didn't get one, it's annoying! We haven't been able to access the pool (Very small) or the executive lounge that we paid for! They accommodated us with a $30 breakfast pass, I think any of the hospitals downtown Nashville serves better food! Also, we were not informed of the L27 being closed, only after the cancellation date through an email. Also, thought hotel guest have priority, however, that's not true. We booked in May. It would of been nice to know that we had to make reservations. I understand how fast things change with COVID. However being informed, we would of made other arrangements. I think they know....I could go into more detailed events here as well, however Travelocity cuts you short at 1500 characters...
