Cheap Motel

Pros: It was clean, more or less.
Cons: TV with more channels.
Location: It was in the middle of an industrial district. There wasn't anything to do nearby.
Inexpensive motels cut back on amenities in order to keep their prices down. Bay Breeze cuts back with gusto. The staff barely speaks English, though they are accommodating, even though with attitude. The snack dispensing machine is poorly labeled so that one to a certain extent must guess which numbers result in getting which items.

Not so comforting

There are no telephones in the room. You have to call from a cell phone to talk to the front desk. The front desk people would not even say a word to you.... literally. You show ID they give you room key. Same as check out. I asked in the morning for a late check out at 12 pm instead of 11 am and they refused. First time that has ever happend at a hotel in all my life, which I also had to call via cell phone to ask

Hotel in a industrial section bad neighborhood.

Room didn't have a clock, phone, hair dryer. Hotel was unable to provide a wake up call. Toilet was backed up. Do not stay here.

If you can stay somewhere else

Cons: Fluffy pillows and internet access
Location: The location was fine
I went to Oakland when all the hotels where booked up. So I ended up at Bay Breeze. Bad customer service the guy at the front desk was rude and behind this thick plexy glass. No amenities, example the internet access was slow better yet I never got to log on. No phone in the room, limited channels. The comfort of the mattress was OK thank goodness. But the pillows where flat and when I went to get a couple more pillows. I was told by the front desk that the laundry room was locked. The room for the most part was clean, very small though. If you can get over bad customer service flat pillows, no phone or internet, be sure to bring your shampoo and conditioner and blow dryer. There was a refrigerator and microwave.

Nice room in the BAD NEIGHBORHOOD.

Pros: NOTHING.
Cons: EVERYTHING NEED TO BE IMPROVE.
Location: Worst location. Hard to find.
The lady at the front desk was UNPROFESSIONAL. Will not stay at this hotel again even if they offer it for free.

Yikes!

Tiniest room I have ever stayed in. The area was pretty scary. I don't recommend based on that.
