The hotel is in an excellent location. There are many restaurants and sites within an easy walk. The hotel is stylish and clean. They offer free happy hour each evening.

Due to an outdoor event being held adjacent to the property all streets were closed and I had no access for my car. I parked 7 blocks away and had to port our luggage both to and from the hotel.

I loved the location. But for the property itself, it was lacking. The lobby was very inviting but the staff was not. I booked a room with a view of the park that wasn’t cheep. When you think of the park for this location you are thinking that you will have a view of the liberty bell but that wasn’t our view. We had a view of the courtyard in front of the hotel. The room was noisy due to the fact that we were placed on the second floor. When asked if we could change rooms the statement from the receptionist was that was the room I was assigned to and they couldn’t change my room. The room itself was lacking as well. Wallpaper was leaking from the wall. The mirror trim around the bed frame was cracked. The mirror in the bathroom was showing signs of age. The furniture in the room was too large for the space. I have had walk-in closets bigger then this room. Room 201 was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. When we do go back to Philadelphia we will choose somewhere else to stay.
