The room wasn’t clean in spots. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close. The entire mechanical mechanism was removed. There appeared to be water damage. The wall paper was in disarray as well

No microwave which was inconvenient & we didn’t know, it needed a clean/newer shower curtain, the bathroom ie: toilet and tub had wear and tear and the tub was clogged one and or secondly because of the pressure of the water was heavy. The iron was broken and cracked, maybe somebody had dropped it before we rented the room I have no idea, but it still ironed our clothes one use. The disclaimer was needed too about the charge/hold of $75 a day for incidentals, it was not listed on the page of payment/receipt. I was told at check in so we had to transfer more money. Otherwise that, it was a decent stay. Thank you.

Poor housekeeping and front desk service.
We came back to hotel after a long day with family to find the room had not been serviced and so no coffee, water or fresh towels. We called the front desk and was told housekeeping would be there. After 2 hours we called again and the front desk(7pm) told us she would contact HK again. We find out the next morning housekeeping had gone home hours before we called. Why the front desk person lied is unclear but we will be looking for a better hotel the next time we visit our grandson.

This is probably the worst Hilton I have ever been to. It is so updated! Our room had disgusting spotted and stained carpet. The pictures on the wall had cracks in the glass. The nightstand was missing the drawer handles. The bathroom toilet had what appeared mold, however, when I looked up there was a hole in the ceiling that was dropping moldy specks of debris in the toilet. I stayed because I have having surgery at Duke across the street and it was super convenient. Will never stay here again. In fact, we just booked a hotel down the street. The outside looked nice and the lobby was okay but definitely not the room!

Wasn't the best Hilton
The main elevators were very concerning. They open extremely slow, however they close as you are walking in. The door slammed into my son's shoulder. And on another occurrence it hit my hand so hard (i was trying to prevent it from banging into me) and i dropped my yeti with water in it. Also it was between 40-45 degrees outside and the AC was blaring in main halls (ice cold). Theres a decent gap under room door where ac was coming in, so room was hard to keep warm with heater and the ac blaring. Staff was nice. Pool was nice. Gym area nice.

It was a very nice hotel. The room was comfy and clean. The front desk was helpful and welcoming. The only thing that rubbed wrong was the lady at breakfast. She was kinda rude. But other than that the hotel all in all was very comfortable stay.
