We checked in and immediately tried to go to the restaurant on the property. It was closed for New Year’s Day which was understandable. We went to our room and found the cleanliness was far below normal expectations. Major stains on the carpet, layers of dust on the tv and tabletops. The refrigerator was unusable because of the smell. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and shower curtain. The shower head was so loose it felt like it would fall off. The bathroom also had paint peeling near the bathtub. The soap dispenser was caked with old soap overflow. It clearly hadn’t been cleared. The worst room as far as cleanliness goes that I’ve ever stayed in. Upon informing the front desk in person, the response was “thanks for letting us know “. Then she proceeded to charge the two drinks I wanted to my room. No thought of trying to find a solution to an unhappy guest. I will never stay at this property again, nor recommend it. A totally failure of service.

The staff are all friendly and the room was clean. We stayed there once in 2012 when it snowed and the free way was closed temporarily. The grounds were very attractive then. Sadly, now, the grounds are dried up and the lagoon is thick and green. I am hoping this is due to Covid and drought and that the place will be back to looking lovely again in the future.

The room was run down and the grounds in complex B was bad. No one picks up dog feces, people above our room were so loud and neighbor had a party. Outside area was all dry and shrubs shriveled up.

The outdoor areas at the property were pretty and the landscaping was well cared for. The room was ok for a pet friendly room and the ease of having to two entrances to the rooms was nice. Front desk staff were pleasant. The restaurant needs a bit of work with customer service and following social distancing for indoor dining. We did walk out of the restaurant and went elsewhere for dinner after an unpleasant experience with a bar patron and the hostess. Breakfast was great the previous morning though (completely different staff on that visit). Overall an ok stay, would I stay again? Maybe.

I booked this property mostly because they allowed dogs and fit my travel plans. I'd neglected to say I HAD my dog with me when I booked; my bad. Thankfully I noticed their signs that said you'd be charged $250/night if you did not let them know about your pet. Was still charged a steep $50/night dog fee (when the room fee was $130). The room wasn't entirely clean, which was a bit shocking given the strict COVID cleaning protocol they claimed. (Used tea packaging w/the coffee, used paper towels by the AC). Not really impressed, but not horrible either.

Extremely frustrated during checking. The older receptionist was rude and defensive and disheveled. Lobby tile needs to be buffed an polished. Manager was friendly and helpful. Rooms were ok. Surroundings are nice. Not sure I would stay here again.
