It’s well kept with kind staff but is showing it’s age as a building. Seems like it could use some TLC. An ok place to stay for the price.

This hotel is reasonably well appointed, clean and is an older hotel that has apparently been refurbished within the recent past. The location is very central to down town and the convention center and it is reasonably priced. The pool is pretty beat up and there are only a few chairs and no tables around the pool. The hot breakfast is fairly minimal but it includes scrambled eggs, link sausage, and a waffle maker. A little on the modest side but, with that in mind, I would recommend it.

very close to convention center with breakfast at

Pros: affordable and walking distance to convention center.
Location: plenty of restaurants.
The lady that checked us in at night was SO nice! Very helpful and a pleasure to meet!

Nice price & great for conference goers & tourists

Pros: The microwave, the refrigerator, the AC/Heat unit (it was moist during the day and chilly at night), FREE WI-FI, free breakfast tha, and a great staff
Cons: Paint job. Keep that elevator up to code--lol. They were making improvements, so the place should be even better.
Location: A person in shape can walk from the hotel over to J Street and go all the way to Old Town Sacramento in about 20-30 minutes. Convention center nearby.
I stayed at the Quality Inn Sacramento because their rates were better than the conference discount my organization got at the bigger hotel near the conference center. This is a quick walk from the conference center and area hotels and even better, they have hot breakfast for free!! The wi-fi was icing on the cake. Actually the microwave AND refrigerator was icing on the cake. We had better amenities than the people who paid more to stay at the conference hotel. Great cable tv and the office clerks were more than helpful. One of them even drew me a great map to where my conference hotel was (I'm not the greatest with directions). The shower heads are excellent! The rooms could use some sprucing up but it's not a deal breaker. The hotel is within walking distance of a 7 Eleven that's open 24 hours, which means the refrigerator can be stocked with snacks as well as restaurant left overs.

A Pleasant Surprise!

I have stayed at this hotel twice over the past two months and I was pleasantly surprise at the new upgrades to the hotel. It seems they have renovated the guestrooms with a fresh contemporary color scheme, new furnishings, fully renovated bathrooms and guest area. Bravo! Thant you to the owners for spending the dollars to improve this property as it has the most convenience location for my visits to Sacrament. You have my business. Keep up the good work. I will definitely be back. Michael

Room Quality/Service Poor

I first circled the location three times before I was able to get a parking space in the small lot. I checked in and arrived at the reserved room and found that it had not been made up from the previous guest. I was then told by the desk person that it was the only room available. After much complaint I was "found" another NON-SMOKING room. Unfortunately, the new room smelled strongly of tobacco odor, the heater ran all night (but never raised the temp) and the refridgerater did not work. I had planned to stay four nights because of the location, but checked out the next morning.
