"This is a great resort as a staycation, or as a home base for seeing other attractions in San Diego. Very clean, eco-friendly, and great amenities. Dining options are limited to 1 restaurant onsite which is a bit pricey, or room service. Luckily, there are many excellent dining options within a few miles of the resort. The Windmill Food Hall is my recommendation. When you first arrive it can be a bit confusing. There are no free parking spots right in front, only valet. So you have to drive to the back of the property or to the parking structure across the street to park. Once parked, you have to walk back to check in. They should allocate a few spots for guests to park while they are checking in. Not a deal breaker, but they should consider regular guests and not just valet customers. We will definitely return and add this resort to our staycation list."
