I had the worst experience ever. We reserved the room late in the middle of the night feb 14-15 2022. I paid an extra fee to for a late check out at 3 pm. I work the night shift and mornings are my nights. Around 10 am the housekeepers started their cleaning routine, but the cart was so loud it was impossible to sleep . They knocked twice and I had to tell them twice to come back later since there was not a Do Not Disturb tag available. At 1:00 pm a huge knock knock on the door telling me to leave. I opened the door very mad and exhausted of noise and no sleep to tell the gentleman that I paid to sleep longer. I was ejected and treated like a liar with no attention to detail and not listening. I left the place telling this rude person bad words .. which never happens to me usually. I left this place stressed out with no sleep at all. Worst experience ever will never come back .

Due the current unfortunate circumstances, there has been an increase in the number of homeless and we do take measures involving the authorities but our priority is make sure the guests feel comfortable at our property. Nice pet friendly inn. We spend one night and mostly ventured around the beach and downtown. Clean property, cozy room. Not too fancy, but clean and comfortable. Our dog had an absolute blast!

Its was semi close to beach. Alot of traffic if you are sent to stay across the street. Be very careful with leaving any valuable in car. Just saying!!

On a busy street such as Ocean St and in the heart of Santa Cruz, arguably the most dynamic area of downtown Santa Cruz, the experiences can be sometimes slightly noisy.
