Like most older boutique hotels they might not have all the newer amenaties. This hotel was perfect for staying in Savannah. You are close to everything including the 2 free Dot bus routes. The room had a nice sitting area, nice bathroom, and comfortable beds. The staff was terrific. I called ahead of time with travel questions and Marilyn was wonderful. If you are looking for a large extravagant chain hotel with all the latest amenities, there are plenty of those nearby for more than twice the price. However, if your looking for a historic hotel with character and close to everything you need. I strongly recommend this place.

Loved the location across from the square, and next door to The Pink Lady (be sure to make reservations WEEKS ahead)! Easy walk to River Street and Hop On Hop Off Bus stop. Valet parking. Charming room and would recommend. Locations on River St were a LOT more expensive, this was a great value for the location.

We liked its location. We were astounded to see that the television reception in our room was horribly out of focus, and the staff member with whom we spoke was rather non committal about this problem and casually said that it was a Hargray problem that they are trying to fix. (How long does that take).
