The property is conveniently located in the historic district very close to the River Walk and City Market. However it is VERY noisy at night. We had a wheelchair and hoyer. Could not use the hoyer lift as there is s box under the bed! Will notbe returning.

We got there, saw what it looked like (terrible) and asked to take a look at the rooms. They declined to let us see the rooms! I've never ever had that happen before. We went next door to the Best Western, who let us look at the rooms and gave us a pretty good rate. Then Quality Inn charged us 158 dollars per room! Because of the late cancellation! I was willing to forfeit one night because of how dirty and rundown the place looked, but the refund for the following 2 nights was only $230. Seriously, it looks very dingy.

The price for the room is the only good thing. They stick you with a $21 parking fee right off the bat which was not mentioned anywhere online that I saw. The parking area is only good for compact Hondas unless you are lucky enough to get a spot up front. I had to let my family out and back into a spot barely wide enough to get the rear of my truck into. There was only about 4" clear on either side and the front of my truck was blocking the sidewalk but there was nothing I could do about it. The woman checking me in was not a happy person. While she was able to answer my questions it was obvious she did not care. The room was decent for the price but the bathroom door was about to fall off at the top and there was mold in the caulking because whoever did the remodel/repair did not use the correct sealant. Checking out was great as those three ladies were very bright and positive.

Hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Room was clean and quiet, but the only negative thing I had to say about the room was the toilet was extremely low and hard for my elderly grandmother and mom to use. Great location and hotel!

Just as convenient as the high-priced neighbors

Okay, a Quality Inn is not your luxury hotel with spa, but it’s just as close to the riverfront and walking through the historic district or catching a trolley and, hey, you get a free breakfast to start your day. Worked for me, a solo female traveler.

Old and run down

Hotel is old and run down. Air conditioner was really noisy. The website said that it was smoke free but the on place you could relax outdoors(patio with chairs and umbrellas) was the designated smoking area. The breakfast was good but the area for dining was very small.
