pretty well in a good location, not to far away from everything, but not to close either.

Thank you For your feedback. I'm glad our staff was courteous and you enjoyed your stay. I would suggest taking advantage of the Valet Parking we offer when parking. It's well worth the $15. Willie H. Alls Assistant General Manager

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly. Room was very good.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel is very good. Worth the money. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Parking is better than most places in the historical district. We will visit this hotel again.

A great bargain and pet friendly as well

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Stopped on our way down to FL and stayed an extra night to see this great town. The place is a bargain- you get a complete hot breakfast and an evening buffet on Mon-Thurs nights, complete w/beer and wine. If u r travelling w/a pet this is the place. Staff very helpful and despite the presence of pets the place did not resemble a veterinary visit. All animals were friendly and on leashes. The staff is extremely accomodating and the place is a nice place to stay.

A very good room choice with some flaws

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Nothing close, Poor breakfast
Residence Inn rooms tend to be spacious and accommodating. It can often be helpful to have a good, full kitchen available (even if you don't use all of its features) and there is typically good workspace as well. This Residence Inn fits that pattern. The rooms are quite good, although the corridors tend to be long and not particularly appealing in terms of their rugs and walls. The food at dinner and at breakfast was disappointing. The night we were there the dinner consisted of hot dogs, chips, and the fixings for a salad. Breakfast did offer cereals, pineapple slices, scrambled eggs and sausage as well as toast--but certainly nothing to rave about. We've had much better at other Residence Inns. One other concern regarding the food: the kitchen staff is not particularly knowledgeable. My wife has to be very careful about consuming food with sugar in it. She asked a staff member if there was sugar in the pineapple slices. The staff member said that there wasn't any on the label. Fortunately, my wife was able to read the label and to see that high on the list of ingredients was high fructose corn syrup--essentially sugar. She knew that there might be problems with the pineapple and she certainly would have had problems if she trusted the staff member and hadn't read the label itself. Like many hotels in or near the historic district (this hotel is on its edge), there's a charge for (valet) parking. This hotel is very hard to find. Although it's a short distance from Martin Luther King Boulevard, there's no sign for its street on the west side of the street (the side it is on) and it's behind a service station. One tip: if you are not interested in paying for valet parking, there are free parking spaces on the north side of the hotel (the side closer to the river). There is an entrance to the hotel from that rear location, but you'll need your room key to use the door (or be lucky if it's ajar). You can, of course, park and then walk around to the front, register, and then get your bags.

great hotel, but a bit pricey

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, beautiful couryard with firepit, exceptionally clean
I love this hotel. The suite was spacious and beautifully appointed with nice furnishings. The complimentary hot breakfast was served by a very friendly and helpful staff. The reception staff members were informative, and kind. I found the hotel a bit pricey and the parking was limited, but I will definitely stay there again!

Best Location in Savannah

We arrived here after an awful night staying at a private historic property for our Honeymoon. The staff could not have been nicer. From check in to the bartender, to cleaning staff everyone went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. When we stayed the hotel had only been open 2-3 weeks but you'd never know if there were any "kinks" in getting things right. We stayed in one of the cottages and it was 100% quite. We parked our car and didn't move it for 4 days. We walked everywhere. This location is superb. The breakfast was not a little continental breakfast, it was a buffet. During the week they hosted "managers snack and cocktail hour" Snack really should have been worded as full meal. One night was bbq with bbq sandwiches and coleslaw another was burritto night...HUGE burrittos. We ate the breakfasts but skipped the dinners b/c that's part of the love of Savannah....THE GREAT FOOD!!! But these things greatly cut down the price of your nightly stay if you add them up. The place is absolutly beautiful and charming. When it was time for us to continue our honeymoon in Charleston, they provided us detaild directions and maps to help us get there smoothly. They really saved our honeymoon from being a disaster, and for that we are forever greatful! We'll be back in December!

New hotel nice stay!!!!!!!

New hotel, well lit inside and out and well kept. staff attentive and helpful. Hotel is half block off main route so you will not hear too much in way of traffic. During my stay I had mostly famiies around me. However noise was never an issue. By the way get a room that that over looks the inner courtyard. There is a pool and outdoor fire place. The room was a bedroom suite. So plenty of room. Actually 2 room the living room and bed room and of course a kitchenette fully stocked with plates and utensils . Also the thermostat worked as advertised heating and cooling as needed Free buffet breakfast was included with my stay and there is an exercise room to remove those calories you just ate. Overall I enjoyed my brief stay and would stay there again.
