My husband and I had an overnight date. We were meeting friends for dinner. I booked the hotel bc it had a pool and a hot tub. When we arrived and got our room key we were told the pool and hot tub were down. Very disappointed!! That was the main reason we stayed there. No compensation or apologies were given.

The room had bedbugs. I always check for bedbugs and roaches in all hotels and this time one was crawling on the pillow. I caught it and then Google it because I have never actually seen one before. It was definitely a bedbug. I put it in a bag and packed out stuff up and went to the front dest to tell them. The lady was nice but she didn't think it was a bedbug. She asked someone else and then came back and told me to call the manager for a full refund. I called today and she said I was not charged for the room but I need to contact Expedia so they can call her and confirm and then refund me. I don't see a number to call so I messaged someone and they shut off the comments so I can't say anything else. This hotel needs updating as well. The lobby looks really nice but the rooms are not nice. Paint is peeling in the bathroom and the rooms are old and need updating
