I loved the robe, the bathroom shower, the cozy bed with its soft pillows and throw, how dark it got in the room. It was quiet alllll night starting around 9. I didn’t like the long check in line but it was just because it was at 4. The salt lamp and safe didn’t work, but I didn’t care about those anyway. The door locked, but the extra lock didn’t work.

When I arrived, the door to the "lobby" was locked. I rang the bell two times and nothing happened. It was cold, so it was not comfortable to wait outside. I called the hotel and the woman who answered was not very helpful. I told her that I was trying to check in and the doors were locked. She asked if I rang the bell and I said I did. She then said "okay" and hung up. She unlocked the doors and I went inside. There was no front desk or lobby on this floor. I called again and this is when she informed me that I needed to go to the 12th floor to get to the lobby. I took the elevator up and she checked me in and then asked if I wanted to pay for a parking pass (considering there was no parking anywhere else, I had no choice but to pay for a parking pass). She told me that breakfast was served on the 12th floor between 7 am and 11 am. When we went to the 12th floor the next morning, breakfast was not served unless you wanted to pay for it. She made it seem as if the breakfast was complimentary. The room as fine and clean, but the service will make me not ever stay here again.

This place is amazing in so many ways. I enjoyed the cool valet staff who welcomed us with excellent service. The check in process was relaxing and very professional. The hallways were quiet and nicely decorated with gorgeous glass light fixtures. The room was large and inviting. The bed was firm with very full pillows. We loved the high end soap products. We will stay here every time we return to St Louis.

This hotel is different in quirky fun ways while still being a full service hotel. It starts at check in when you are asked to pick your favorite color. Rooms are themed by color and we chose yellow. Our room was almost entirely yellow but in a very beautiful soft style. The hotel also appears to be a renovated apartment building or older hotel but everything is clean and up to date. The rest of the hotel is curated with art each month and it is truly like staying in an Art Gallery. There are a couple of lounges and one even has instruments that guest can play if in the mood. The hotel bar is open and airy with a nice outside patio. The surrounding neighborhood has theaters and art museums. -Parking is $17.50 a night if you Valet. It is an outdoor lot. I think you can easily park free on the street right by the hotel. -Within a few blocks is the Dark Room were local musicians play in a very friendly and comfortable setting. We had a drink and snacks and they were very good. -The TV in the room has very basic channels -Within easy driving distance is the neighborhood of the Central West End. It is a great place to spend an afternoon having lunch, a drink and shopping

Room was a bit small and not well sound insulated but it is an older redone building. Really liked the heavy wood doors and location terrific for Fox theatre

Our room was yellow and was very small . Air handlers were noisy . Rude bartender upstairs— beard wearing a brown hat . We really enjoyed only having a short walk to Fox . Front desk and valet folks were great

The Angad is a travelers dream! Great Food (I recommend the hipster fries and the Korean wing!). The rooms are color coded, so we chose the yellow room (we went to bed in sunshine and woke up to sunshine)! The staff.... 2 words incredible and so accommodating ( we were in town for the Washington Nationals game and we walked everywhere in our Nats gear and they were so nice about our end)! Run, d
