The room smelled of backed up sewage. I had to open up all the windows and air the room out before i could be in it.

Tucson Casita

Location: Right across the street from the municipal golf course.
When I made the reservation I chose the casita based on the need for 2 rooms. I thought the casita was an upgrade from the regular suite as the rate was higher. Not so much. The casitas are located at the far end of the hotel parking lot surrounded by private apartments or condos. Patio for the casitas was dirty with only two little chairs and had a view of the parking lot. Needless to say we didn't spend any time there. The "kitchen" was large and had a refrigerator and microwave but absolutely no utensils or cups, plates etc. I would definitely not choose to stay in a casita again but would choose a regular room near the pool. The service from the front desk staff was very good.

Noisey

Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: no fan in bathroom broken remote for tv hard to find extra receptacles WIFI disconnected constantly Always people around my room outside
Location: good location
If you book online you may be put in the older portion of the hotel. I was next to the maid station/laundry room. Couldn't sleep. Hard to find a parking spot too with all of the events going on.

Delicious cookies?

Pros: The location of the hotel is what sold me on making reservations.
Double Tree Reid Park advertises these wonderful cookies to enjoy while you check in. Check in is at 3 P.M. We arrived about 3:45 and the front desk informed us they just ran out of cookies. The room, nothing to write home about, it looked worn. Air conditioner seemed to be working extra hard just to get the room to 70 degrees.
