They cancelled our reservation! We arrived at midnight and were informed that they had overbooked and cancelled a bunch of reservations. Our reservation was one of them. No room at the inn! We will not be staying with them ever again. We booked far in advance in order to insure a room for this particular weekend, needless to say we were very upset and disappointed.

What a difference a can of paint would make. Broken bed frame should have been replaced.

My family and I visit AOAA in Cole township several times a year. We decided to try a new place to stay that was a little closer. Well let's just say the staff was mediocre. The big issue with our room was the cleanliness of the floors. My 2 year old walked around on the floor for 15 minutes and his feet were black. I thought maybe it was just a spot. Well I got out of the shower and the same thing happened to my feet. The floor felt gross. I figured we would be here for 3 nights I would go say something at the front desk. I told the women at the front desk and she asked if we were leaving for the day I said yes . She told me that she would have someone clean the floor. Well that never happened. During our visit no one ever came into clean or take the garbage. Attention to detail and basic cleaning is a big miss. Now let's touch on the construction at 7am. I get up at 4am for work but expect some sort of extra sleep while on vacation. The contractors hammering 2 rooms over is a little rude. They also park their truck and trailer in front of our room which was a nice inconvenience to us since we were trying to put everything in the car to go home. Don't stay here if you want peace and quiet. If you require a hot shower with a dirty floor and smelly room then this is the place for you. If the manager Brock spent more time supervising his staff and lesssngime smoking outside his office maybe it would be a nice place to stay.
