The hotel was close to Main Street in Laurel and the staff was friendly and helpful but it was run down, the room wasn't clean, and the wi-fi reception was sporadic and cut out frequently.

For one thing that ruined the whole stay were the attitude of Mr.Ali he were so rude to my wife i kept myself together without a big fuss we ask to talk to the manager but he lied and said that she wasnt there and the next morning we found out that she were there the whole time also she were on loud speaker talking very unprofessional and him also

We do appreciate you putting a review in, unfortunately the water temp is to be no higher that 140 on the thermometer and it was exactly at 140, we cannot change the temp at all we would have to hire a plummer to do so but I believe they wont do it either. As for saying I was here the whole time, I was not so no I was not lying and neither was Ali, he called me and I told him to check our water heaters, and he did offer to move you cause your wife was not happy with the temp of the water, and you took the offer after you went to the new room to check the water temp in the new room. I am truly sorry you feel we did not help you out, both Ali and I help you and your wife to the best of our ability.

Be careful people. When you checked in, they required a credit card, AND charged $100 on it as "Security Deposit", but the bill you have to sign did not say "Security Deposit". When asked about it, the staff said it will be credited back to your credit card AFTER 7 days. And when you checked out, they just asked you to drop the key into a little basket, and nothing about charges, and deposits. I feel that $100 is a gonner and not expecting it to be returned.
The room smells, the carpet sticks to your shoes, I was afraid of walking barefoot in the room.
The shower curtain rod was hanging on for dear life. I know it'll fall on to some poor fool's head in short time.
And then some drunk fools arguing, yelling at one another around 2-3AM right outside the door ... and it went on for a good half hour.
This gives "Wyndham" a bad rep for being associated with this outfit.

We appreciate your comments and concerns, all security Deposits are refunded as long as there is no damage or smoking in the room. NEVER have we kept the deposit for anything else. Im sorry you feel this way. We cannot control any guests outside your door arguing if it is not reported, these things we do not tolerate and we would have taken action, or have called the police to handle.
You can pay cash for the room and for the security deposit, Before your deposit is refunded we need to inspect the room you were in before we refund.
Again Im sorry you feel this way, we do hope you give us another chance on your next stay in the Laurel area.

Rooms are louder being an exterior room compared to the interior rooms, we can move you to an interior room for a small upgrade fee, if you should book that room type again. We appreciate you choosing Days Inn and we do hope to see you again.
