Everything was great, i like the wayvyou haf to have your keu to get in an out of the hotel, the breakfast staff was so polite an helpful. Never stayed at a hotel that good, don't have nothing bad to say at all.

Nice Hotel in general.

I was in room 509. Online it boasts being a corner room of a fancily photographed hotel. $199 per night. Well, for $199 a night I would expect a much more elaborate bathroom. Not a mismatched corner shower with a cheap ol' glass door. I would also expect much better pillows. King size pillows for a king sized bed. Not small pillows that are fluffed to make them look like nice comfy pillows. The view from this 5th floor room was a magnificent view of the parking garage, an office building and a slight, lean over the railing view of the Missisippi river. This was NOT a $199/night room. I've spent better nights in a lesser expensive room. Sorry Hampton Inn and Suites, downtown Baton Rouge, I was not overly impressed. My 4 out of 5 rating was for the staff. Thank you David for bringing me up some aspirin from y'all's little store at 5:30 in the morning. My headache (from the pillows) got better. Coffee downstairs was great the next morning and the breakfast room staff were quite nice.

Not the greatest location with the traffic

Pros: Staff was great took extra steps like taking plates at breakfast as we walked through door and cleaning room last to give time to checkout. Staff def
Cons: Location but that is out of their control
Location: Casino, River, Good restaurant and bars located nearby.
The construction and traffic wasnt the best but the staff all greeted with smiles and for the first time I felt a caring in the staff that as an army veteran and I travel alot, I found that that alone raised the hotel to one of my favorites thus far. Well done.
