It wasn’t what I expected for the price. Lydia thinks she is untouchable and that she can be rude but fake nice at the same time towards guests. Very poor customer service skills. You can tell the owner doesn’t care about the rooms as much as he does about the lobby. You can’t judge a place by its lobby. The only good thing was the pool. Our room you could clearly tell it had water damage in it by looking at the brown water marks on the ceiling. I had to pick up some stuff in my room that the maids might have missed. When I first complained about the room I wasn’t offered a room to move to just a room to look at and compare. Then after getting upset I was offered a new room, but honestly I’m sure the new one offered wouldn’t have been any better, I was tired from my flight and had already experienced excuses and fakeness from the front desk so I declined to move. They need to fix room descriptions if there isn’t such thing as a superior queen room and only a standard queen room then remove the superior queen option from this website. The front desk supervisor was awesome, but that doesn’t bring the rating up any considering all the stuff I dealt with on my first night there. My sheets on my bed had like black mascara looking stuff and our toilet paper was a new one. That’s very unsanitary considering we have a pandemic going on. So I think our room was used, then “re cleaned” then we were checked into it after someone else probably didn’t like the room.

Old hotel that has been renovated; nothing was open when I arrived; everything is being blamed on Covid, but this is getting old. No dining options on Sundays; no bar; suggestion was made on a walkable Sushi restaurant, but they were very pricey and had just closed at 08:45pm; another suggestion was to walk a 1/4 of a mile for dining options, but everywhere was closed. Upon checkout, clerk told me about JJ's Bar with great chicken wings. Pity that the night clerk didn't suggest this. I would stay again when CP moves beyond being a glorified motel and opens up options for long distance travelers. Right beside the I-355, so a quick exit is delightful. Hotel was clean; everyone wore a mask; bed was comfy; no breakfast available the next morning. 3-stars.

No microwave in the room, thermostat is bit hard to adjust, but room was comfortable. Pool was very nice. Restaurant was a bit expensive.
