Excellent Evanston Hotel

Superb hotel. Great room and wonderful service. Perfect location for exploring Evanston and the north side of Chicago. The only downside was bathroom door in our room got stuck and was difficult to open. Resolved the problem ourselves and didn't discuss with the hotel staff.

Great location near downtown Evanston, in a beautifully updated, century-old building. The parking valets were a bit overwhelmed when we arrived, and there isn’t enough curb space on the street to accommodate multiple vehicles arriving at the same time.

Fabulous location, staff was very hit or miss on friendliness. Has a great bar, but the bartender could have been nicer. Needs a few bits of extras being that the rooms are very minimalist…hooks for coats, an extra chair, a place for cosmetics in the bathroom due to the pedestal sink

Comfy visit

Great location and beautiful hote.

The room was amazing. Lake view with a fireplace (non functional). Great service and location for my wife's graduation ceremony from Northwestern. Our 2nd stay there and we love it.

Cute little boutique hotel with rooms that have the original character of the apartment building it used to be. No room service. Restaurant with limited options and very pricey. Asked for coffee in the morning and it was brown water - horrible. I was also given the wrong room when I arrived. Next door guests were very noisy - thin walls. Way too pricey for what you get. Would not stay again.

So much better than any of the chain hotels. Loved the quaint atmosphere, small but cozy rooms very well laid out. First time I have ever had a heated floor in the bathroom! Very convenient location, blocks away from downtown and about as close as you can get to Northwestern University.

I have stayed here on several occasions and always enjoy my stay. This stay was the best because we got free upgrades and although we came in late at night the staff was friendly like it was a bright afternoon. I look forward to staying here again soon.
