I like that it was more like a one bedroom apartment and if you are in town for Navy PIR, it is awesome for your Sailor to relax. I didn’t like that they do not give military discount.other than that it’s great

Candlewood Suites is like very nice. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were clean and it had a full mini kitchen already equipped. Kudos t the cleaning staff, keep up the good work!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff! Cleanest room and most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve experienced this entire trip! Towels were generous, thick, soft... although I didn’t use the kitchenette, I noticed that it was well stocked. The room was well appointed with large desk so it was easy to spread out to work. No breakfast available, but that’s on me for not checking. Should have realized that since the rooms have kitchens, there was no need for the motel to provide food. I have only positive remarks. Will stay here again!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It is true, all of our rooms are equipped with a full kitchenette. All of our kitchenettes come completely stocked with everything you may need. Being a primarily extended stay hotel, we do not offer a hot breakfast. In place of a hot breakfast, we offer our Candlewood Cupboard. Our Candlewood Cupboard is stocked with many snack, drink and meal options, as well as complimentary coffee and tea open 24 hours. It is great that you had such a fantastic stay and our team hopes that this stay was not your last!

Close, comfortable and convenient.

Pros: Reasonably close to downtown Libertyville (5 miles?). The bed was much more comfortable than I expected.
Location: This hotel would be a good option for anyone staying in the Libertyville or Mundelein area. It's at the intersection of Winchester Rd. and 45.
Business traveler who happened to be in town for a high school reunion. As suites hotels go, this was nice. There are two types of rooms... one with a living room and one without. I stayed in a 'with' room. The layout was slightly larger than I expected. The hotel had a clean 'newer' feel to it. The bed was the nice soft Crown Plaza type which I really liked. Very comfortable. And I typically hate hotel coffee but the coffee available downstairs was very good. No complaints. Would definitely stay there again.

We actually just replaced all our mattresses and bedding so we are so happy to hear that it is making such a wonderful difference to our guest's sleep quality. More like a basic apartment

Since it's an extended stay, seems like there are people who live there, do laundry, etc. Small "store" to buy and cook food in small kitchen in room. Hallway smelled like someone just cooked fried chicken. No restaurant, though staff provided very good recommendations for breakfast. No lobby. Small business center with a computer and printer.

Great room if you want a great working environment!

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Wow, I love the huge along-the-wall desk in this hotel - I love it even more than any actual desk I've had in any actual company! When I travel on business, I'm all about getting a few hours of extra work done just before I go to sleep and just after I wake up, and this was just a spectacular way to do that. Also, it was nice to have a full-size refrigerator in the room (though I didn't use it).
