I did not even check in. The lobby was heavily perfumed and I found out why once we left it. The rest of the place, especially the elevator and the room smelt terrible. The room was suppose to have just been cleaned but dishes were in the dishwasher and rust in the shower. Worst of all was the smell in the room. I didn't even set my bags down nor did I check in. I am embarrassed to have even been in that place. They said I would give me a refund if I had booked straight with them but that I would have to talk with Travelocity since that is who I had went through.

It was a bad experience. Not only they did not provide us with the type of room and bed we reserved but the room they gave us was not locking properly, WiFi service was not working, and the room is not even carpeted. We had to leave the hotel in few hours.

I recently booked a stay at WoodSpring Suites Plano - North Dallas through Expedia, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The issues encountered were so severe that I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. Upon check-in, the reception provided room keys for allegedly vacant rooms, only for us to find out that they were already occupied by permanent residents. To our disbelief, the property appeared to function not just as a hotel but also as a residence, complete with a school bus dropping off students who apparently live there. The pervasive smell of an illegal substance and the presence of dead insects throughout the premises were beyond unpleasant. These conditions not only deviated drastically from the advertised description but also raised significant health and safety concerns. Despite our reasonable request for a full refund due to the misrepresented information, the hotel staff adamantly refused. This left us with no choice but to book an alternative hotel at additional expense just to salvage our trip. I am baffled as to how WoodSpring Suites Plano - North Dallas is even listed on Expedia, given the glaring misrepresentation and substandard conditions. My advice to fellow travelers: steer clear of this establishment unless you're willing to risk your well-being and waste your money. This experience has not only soured my perception of WoodSpring Suites Plano - North Dallas but has also left me questioning the reliability of booking p

Hard working staff, based what i obseved. Only issue and concern is no staff after hours, have to call in if you check in really late. I would give higher overall, but for most part they do what they say they will do. For example, this is the only hotel to fix stuff when things do not work. Other hotel where i stayed for long period ike 6 month never fix it ams some other hotel thevsame bad experience. I keep getting bad rooms in texas, except this one.
