Checked hotel website for dog-friendly terms because hotels.com post didn’t list anything we could find. Hotel website shows a fee for 2 nights and 3 nights plus, but mentions absolutely NOTHING for one night like we booked. Upon arrival they called the manager to confirm they would charge the fee for one night. When I showed him our listing AND his company’s website, he insisted that if I searched our booking website thru pages to find the fine print, it was there. I never would’ve found it!!! Also, when I showed him how when I questioned it and went to his company’s website and THEY said nothing about a charge for one night, he said that doesn’t matter. Excuse me, I said?! That’s unbelievable!! Also!! Read the finer fine print!! They charge additional resort fees above and beyond the booking once u get there, PLUS an additional generic deposit on top of the dog deposit they charged despite their own company’s website not listing it!!!! Lastly, we had no pillows for the sofa bed and called the front desk and let it ring 4 times before they finally picked up the 5th time, only to tell us we had to come up and get them IF they had extras. We walked up there and waited until someone came to the desk, then they disappeared for almost 10 minutes while we waited!!! The place is clean and very nice. The front desk staff and management was enough for us to say we would never return. Our booking ended up costing us DOUBLE what the hotels.com booking initially was
