This was a very disappointing experience. We knew Covid might alter some amenities, but other than a bed, electricity and indoor plumbing there was no pool, fitness center or even prepackaged food for a continental breakfast.. our room was supposed to have a tub and shower it only had a shower and the bathroom door stuck and wouldn’t close. We were in room 113. Apparently we were in a “pet friendly” area The hallway and our room smelled like wet dog.

Hi there KimberlyRobert, I hope that our desk agent did not inform you of any of this because our pool was only closed for 3 days because of a chemical issue, but we did offer guests who wanted to swim the address of our sister hotel up the road so they could swim there. I am sorry that you felt that the fitness center was closed; it is also open. If you were unhappy with your room type, always make sure to let the desk agents know because we are aware that you are a paying customer, and are looking for a great night stay when you stay with LaQuinta. Our desk agents at this location are always willing to switch your room at any ours of the night. If you were in the pet-friendly area with no pets with you during your trip,and that was an inconvenience, always let us know. We are so sorry that you felt so negatively during your stay with us. We try very to make sure all of our guests are happily accommodated. We are also renovating our pet friendly floor as well as we are aware that the carpet has lived a long, good life. We really hope that we did not ruin our relationship with you; we hope to see you again in the future; we promise that every one of your needs will be met.
