Great staff! Overall experience was just great. No issues and centrally located. Nice size room and pool was nice too with a chill, but fun vibe. The Bazaar was nice, it’s a big hotspot in BH, but we didn’t eat there. Easy walk to Melrose or a quick ride to Rodeo or West Hollywood. 25 minutes to Santa Monica or Hollywood/Walk of fame.

Expensive hotel with dark rooms and limited facili

We stayed recently in this hotel for three nights. Rooms were dark and the facilities such as pool is limited. Overcrowded pool expensive valet parking. Notice on the corridor.

Experience the maze!

This former corporate type business hotel was successfully tranformed into the glitzy celebrity hangout with molecular- cuisine restaurant and lounge to match. If you're looking to hopnop with Hollywood celebrities or simply be in the vicinity of their presence, you won't be disappointed. But if your room is not within one turn from the elevators, don't expect to be able to get in and out without first going through the maze-like corridors...and getting lost, sometimes several times, while in a hurry to get out. Don't expect any help from signs since the walls are generic looking and the corridors completely unmarked and devoid of furnishing...in tribute to minimalism...? Perfect hangout for maze-lovers.

Stay here only if you are a model

I battle a major weight issue. I was made to feel like a third class citizen. Whenever I walked through the lobby someone would make a sound that a truck makes when it backs up and the lobby people would smirk. This hotel is designed for anorexics.

Overpriced and snooty

I was very excited to stay at the SLS for the first time last year but was very disappointed. The lobby is uncomfortable unwelcoming and so are the front desk personnel. The lobby is so dark you cant see yourself in all the many mirrors that span each wall. You cant even see yourself in the lobby bathrooms. The bar at the Bazaar is unbelievably overpriced and pretentious. The pool was so crowded there was no spending time there except to try to get a quick lunch but service is so bad I gave up. The rooms are very quiet and the fitness center is very good. But on my 2nd stay there #40for a friends birthday party#41 the room I was in had a leak in the ceiling and it took them hours to come and look at it #40right before bed time unfortunately#41 and they didnt fix it. They also didnt offer to comp me for the discomfort and were rude about it. Im not sure why this is a 5 star hotel I have stayed at many 5 stars and this doesnt even come close.
