The building was quite beautiful. I especially like the lobby area and the bedroom use of wall color and rehab. The airconditioning in the lobby was so cold that it was not possible to sit in the bar area without extra layers of clothing. The breakfast was very disappointing for $20. It reminded me of the breakfasts at the motels on I-95 going south that come with the room

Beautiful.
This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Close enough to Bourbon Street, but far away enough to be quiet. The only complaint we had was that they couldn't figure out how to stop the toilets from running (we heard of at least three others who had the same problem). Our neighbors ran all night. Very annoying.

If you have an allergy to down (feathers) make sure to book a pure room only as they will not give you regular non-feather pillows if you are not in a pure room. Front desk manager was rude and condescending and did not care about our allergy. Will never stay here again and do not recommend. Garbage in the halls, drinks spilled all over the place and loud parties at all hours.
