The owners were very friendly when we checked in. Everything in the compact, efficient room was clean and in working order. There is no elevator. There were only two bath towels for our two adults and two adult children, so I went to the housekeeping room for more towels and some hand soap. The refrigerator was too small; it only fit several bottles of water and a couple ice packs; probably better for families of 3 or not traveling around as much. Two of us waded into the pool but it was too cold and dirty on the bottom. Fortunately, it’s only a few minutes drive to the Tahquitz Canyon trail, so we could rush to the 8 am hike before the park entry closed due to capacity. Overall, it’s a good to sleep and keep our suitcases while sightseeing.

Not unusual for the industry but the online pictures looked much better than the room we received. Our other friends also staying there, experienced the same. For the price point, we didn’t expect too much but this was pretty bad. Tiny shower without even one shelf to put your soap, shampoo, etc. We had a water bug or roach in the bathroom as did our friends. The furniture was beat up and the full wall mirror was a repurposed sliding closet door. There was a small fridge and microwave which was good. If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Palm Springs, this may work for you, but I’ll spend a little more $ and get a nicer place when we return next year.

The location is excellent and the staff good natured & helpful. I suggest booking one of their Modern updated rooms. They’ve dressed up the motel with bright paint, basic room appliances but it’s a bit worn at the edges. Very attractive affordable rates, so bring your own bathrobe, pillow, tissues, morning amenities.

Nice and cozy
It's not the Hilton by any means but from staying there often we became friends with the "guy" Steve and he's been more than accommodating with us during our stays. Nice people, cozy atmosphere and for the price, you can't beat it. It's no wonder they're sold out most of the time

Great value for the money. It’s an older motel that has been refurbished, but the refurbishment was done well in the rooms. Super helpful staff! Room did NOT smell like smoke which was a pleasant surprise!
