When we checked in to the hotel at 10:30pm we were first told that they would need to clean a room for us. Then we were told the only room available was a single queen room when we booked a 2 queen room. We had 2 adults, a 14 year old and 5 year old. They said they would bring a cot that both kids could sleep on. It was a single mattress….my 5 year old ended up sleeping on the chair in the room.

I tried to cancel thru Travelocity and they told me to go thru the Omni Hotel. I called the hotel and they told me to go thru Travelocity. To keep from losing my money, I went anyway. If I had known it would be a problem changing my mind on staying, I would have booked the hotel right from the hotel front desk. It wasn’t booked solid so I didn’t really need to use Travelocity.

Property had sign prohibiting firearms. In general I find these signs insulting, but particularly during the largest pro gun rally day in the capital. These signs are absolutely useless and only place law abiding citizens safety in jeopardy
