Didnt care for breakfast. Not an adequate selection. Valet parking was confusing. No one knew where to wait with their cars. Had to go in and tell people we were here. $22 is steep for parking.staff was friendly though. Room was ready before 3 so that was nice.

Staff customer service was good. The hotel bathroom is very small . The shower need to be replaced. No towels, you need to ask every day for towel . No wash towel . The price is high for what you get.

Small but clean room with helpful, friendly staff. In room heating very noisy as was the construction next door on the subway being built along Eglington

Pleasantly surprised!!

Pros: Staff great. We travel often and I thought that this hotel offered a good value. Thomas at Bell desk very helpful. Jade in restaurant also terrific.
Cons: Perhaps a second mirror in the room, not in the bathroom

Very comforting, relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Pros: It had smoking rooms, I'm a cigar smoker & I like to have a cigar while watching TV, working by the desk, instead of the hassle of going outside.
Cons: Having vending & ice machines on the same floor. I was on the 7th floor, I had to go down to the 3rd floor for ice, to the lobby for drinks & snacks.
Location: Shopping and places to grab a quick bite were in walking distance, pizza, cafes, pharmacy with everything you needed if you forgot something home.
The 4 days, 5 nights was great. Very clean surroundings. Staff, waiters, waitresses, bell men and maids were all excellent, very courteous & helpful, if you needed anything they were on it. I was a little disappointed with the size of the bathroom, it was just a little too small for me. It could have been a bit roomer but all in all it was fine.

Nice hotel in a convenient location

Pros: The location.
Cons: The rooms could be updated, particularly the bathrooms.
Location: It is close to the Eglinton shopping area and the subway. You can be downtown Toronto very quickly.
We have stayed at this hotel twice now as it is convenient to family. The staff are great and we enjoy the complimentary breakfast. It is walking distance to the subway and near Mt. pleasant cemetery. The rooms are clean and comfortable but a little dated. Valet parking is a reasonable price.

Poorly equipped for a busy weekend

I stayed for one night over the Labour Day long weekend. The valet informed me that the parking lot was completely full and that I would have to find my own parking in a lot nearby. This alternative lot was poorly marked ("Authorized Parking Only", not "Public Parking"), but the valet never informed me or, it seems, other guests who also struggled to find the lot. Under these circumstances, I would have expected the valet to park the car there. It would also have been nice to have some assistance with my luggage, which I had to trek back myself from the alternative lot. I was also booked in a smoking room, and was unable to change it. That's not terribly surprising, given the long-weekend demand, but the room stank terribly—as did the entire 7th floor. No amount of air freshener would have improved that situation.

Midtown Toronto hotel

Pros: Location, the size of the room, the breakfast
Cons: A safe in the room and a microwave (which they do have on request) would be nice. The valet parking service could be more efficient.
Location: The location is great in that you can get almost anywhere easily, but there is nothing much to do (except for the restaurants) in the immediate area
We have stayed here before and have always been satisfied. The hotel is in a terrific location in midtown Toronto. There are very few hotels in the area and the price is remarkably reasonable given the lack of choice. The rooms are large and comfortable and the breakfast, which is included in the price, is quite good and includes hot selections. Parking is additional, but a parking lot in Toronto would be more. There is a small exercise room and an outdoor pool if you are there in the summer months. We have no real complaints.
