We will definitely be returning to The River Inn! Our room was clean. Every single employee we interacted with was so nice and helpful. We felt safe the entire time walking around the area. The metro and restaurants were within 5 minutes of walking. It was a great experience!

The hotel is near the George Washington University. It is close to many great restaurants and walking distance to the monuments. It was clean and the staff were great. The restaurant on site is closed due to Covid, but hopefully that will change soon. We enjoyed our stay.

There was no parking. One of my nights staying there I circled the block for over an hour looking for on street parking. My room was loud, both nights there was some noise coming across the windows and it was hard to sleep. The bathtub had hair left from the previous renter. The dishes in the kitchen were dirty. For 100 plus a night you should have a clean bed, clean kitchen, and a parking space. I learned my lesson. I’ll go with a name brand hotel chain next time.
