I want to get started with saying the people we dealt with were truly amazing and that this has the potential of being an amazing little place to stay after some updates.
However, when we first got there the air didn’t work. We contacted the owner and she had the building manager come up to take a look but they immediately brought up a portal AC. The only downfall was the AC had to go through the window which meant we could hear EVERYTHING from outside and when the AC was running we couldn’t hear the TV at all.
The next thing was the pillows and bed. The pillows were so flat that using the comforter for our heads gave much more support. The mattress itself wasn’t terrible but definitely needed replaced soon. After hiking all day it was a very unpleasant thing to come back to since there was no getting comfortable.
The last downfall was the shower/bathroom. The shower itself was very roomy and had amazing pressure but it flooded the entire bathroom every-time we showered. After each shower we had to thoroughly dry the floor to prevent damage caused by us. The other downfall with the bathroom was it used a timed light so when you took a shower the lights would randomly shut off.
The location of the place was amazing though. There was a restaurant called Jack Browns below us that we were obsessed with. We also loved how close it was to a lot of places we wanted to check out. We are big into walking so that was a huge plus for us.
