When we arrived at check in we had to wait almost 2 hours to have a room because rooms were being cleaned. When I check on the status of our room we were told we could switch types of room if we wanted to get into a room. We agreed, but were given a room that was not clean. The bed was made, but the sheets were dirty. There were used towels in various spots of the room, trash in the wastebaskets, among other things. We were then given another room that had issues with the keycard/lock batteries.

My apologies for the inconvenience for you being checked into a dirty room. By mistake a room was released and you got checked into that room, my sincerest apologies. This is not a standard for our hotel and we offered you and upgrade to a King Suite that still had the same accommodation of your original room type for beds. With a two night stay we did not get our room cleaned for the 2nd night. No new set of towels either. The best they could do to compensate was $20.00 off the 2nd night.
