Between the middle of the night pacing from the room above and the 6AM vacuuming , it was the worst stay I've ever had in a motel.I checked out later in the morning and the man at the front desk did not say one word to me; not how was your stay ? have a good day, NOT ONE WORD! On a positive note the breakfast was ok and the dining room appeared clean and tended to. I've stayed at many Comfort Inns, but this one was a real disappointment.

This room was chosen last minute for a mother daughter retreat my daughter and I decided to take. It had a very nice pool, water was a little chilly but very clean! It was right next to Red Lobster so we could walk there from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and hotel was a little older but very clean.

Overall great

I'm not sure what to say other than it was great. My room was clean and comfortable, free cable and internet, there was a pool stocked with clean towels. There was a continental breakfast, but I didn't go. The temperature in the room was very nice, and adjustable. When I go up north again, I will stay here again.

Do Yourself a Favor and Stay Somewhere Else

Pros: The king bed was comfortable.
Cons: The overall cleanliness could be improved, and change out the filters once in awhile.
Location: The hotel is close to the interstate, which is handy. Only stopped for the night on our way to Chicago.
We booked this hotel while on road. The reviews rated it two stars and very good. The price through Travelocity was pretty good, so we booked it. Our room was on the 2nd floor and there isn't an elevator, so if your elderly you probably won't want to lug your luggage up the stairs. My wife, a flight attendant, has stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years, said it was the of the dirtiest she had seen, soon as we entered the room. Upon turning on the AC, a rotten smell permeated the room. I pulled out the filters, and they looked like they had never been cleaned or replaced. I washed them under the shower, which helped somewhat.

Not Disappointed

Booked a room based on positive reviews by other patrons. Not disappointed. The Front Desk staff were very accommodating and the room was well appointed and very clean. Numerous choices at breakfast and quite tasty. I would return as a guest without hesitation.
