This hotel is in a great location! However, it is billed to be a "resort" type property - it is basically an older hotel that has been cheaply updated to appear more expensive. The bed was comfy enough but the pillows were sad. You had to be careful when entering room because door didn't open all the way due to furniture placement.
I booked the most expensive room overlooking the river - that view was great. The other view was a dumpster and a huge pile of discarded sofas, etc..
Perhaps, they are still in the remodeling process.

This is something we will pass along to management so we can look into it further. As you saw, we are an older facility that is constantly going through updates and upgrades and has come along way over the years. Our style is not to be modern and fancy but to be more of a home away from home feel which a lot of our guests enjoy. We do not of course want any of our guests to see garbage around the property because it does lessen the experience for you and we apologize that you did see this during your stay. We do try our best to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for you. Again, we appreciate the feedback you gave us and encourage it so we can understand what our guests like and don't like and grow from that. We thank you for giving us a try and staying with us.

Older property, nicely remodeled. The walk to the Island was 5 minutes at most. If it passed my wife cleaning then it’s good. Though not a 5 star definitely on our our return list

Everything was perfect at the Arbors at Island Landing. The room was so clean and comfy. And the breakfast at Reagan's House of Pancakes was the absolute best.
