The Hotel was very clean and the staff polite. However we had no hot water in the room. when I called the front desk I was told the Hotel had no Hot Water at all and would not have any until sometime the next Day. we had to take cold showers, but were charged the full amount for our room. when I ask about our rate being reduced or a future night be comped. I was told I would have to contact the Headquarters for Hampton Inn.

How to be pampered

Pros: Location, feeling of luxury, and thoughtful amenities.
Cons: Nothing. It is the best.
Location: Plenty of things to see and do in York. And, close to other points of interest like Columbia and Baltimore.York has a great historic area.
The staff and management of this hotel could not have done a better job. We arrived early, but they went out of their way to welcome us. Our room was upgraded and it was beautiful. It was very quiet and comfortable. When we had problems with our corkscrew, the staff at the front desk opened the wine bottle for us. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. It was an extensive menu, and was replenished quickly when supplies ran low. There was a large group of people in the breakfast area, but because of the thoughtful design and arrangement of the tables, there still was plenty of room. The attentive staff took care of clearing the tables and making everything sparkle. Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing weekend!
