Nice area

Have stayed here before when the hotel was remodeling. Almost finished now. Great job. Love the location, but was told by staff it will be a different name in March. Rates will be quite a bit more, so will probably not be able to stay again

Good location. Not good desk, staff, no breakfast

We arrived to check in and the woman at the desk told us that the computer was down and that we couldn’t check in yet. I asked when it would be fixed and she said it could be 10 minutes or it could be longer. I said were we able to check in tonight and she said I’m not sure you’ll have to come back later. After hours and hours of traveling, we couldn’t even check into our room and she made it seem like we weren’t going to be able to check in at all!!!!! Which is absolutely ridiculous We just traveled almost 15 hours and we are exhausted. We had an event to attend that night and we couldn’t even change shower and get ready because our hotel room was not able to be checked into because the system was down. She did not give us any guidelines or give us any help whatsoever. She just said could be 10 minutes. Might not even be tonight. Breakfast was also a reason we booked this hotel and due to remodeling it was CLOSED. There was also construction going on in the room next-door starting at 8 o’clock in the morning every single morning. We were attending events that we were out late for and this was not a good awakening. Not to mention after I’ve gotten home I did not get my entire security deposit back which makes absolutely no sense. We left their own spotless.

There are good things. The weekend staff was amazing and kind. We had two days of gracious staff. Weekday not so much. The picture of the pool is deceiving. Not as nice as it seems. And I wish there was a hot tub. Breakfast is also nothing special. Wish they had some hot choices. Strange they closed breakfast early on Martin Luther king Monday. I would say if it’s a holiday weekend, treat the Monday like a weekend and stay open until 10. We missed it by 10 min because we thought it was until 10 and I know the weekend staff would have grabbed us a bagel or yogurt, but weekday staff was strict and stingy. Definitely better than motel 6, but If they added the hot tub and a better breakfast, and remind staff kindness is everything, this has potential.

New renovation, great deal

This property is going through a major renovation. The halls, lobby, and rooms were all brand new or in process. We had a quiet night sleeps. The bed was comfortable. The bath was newly remodeled but small. Everything felt new and clean. Some rooms had no great view, but they used blinds that provided sunlight, privacy, and an imposed natural picture. Breakfast was continental with coffee, juice, and scant options. Given the Scottsdale location and the price we paid, it was a great bargain.
