This hotel is in a great location for visiting downtown Pittsburgh. It's just a few blocks from the market square area which has several places to eat. The parking was a block away in a garage, but it was fairly convenient to use. Our biggest complaint was that our television did not work in the room. It kept freezing, skipping, or not working at all. We reported this to the front desk, and they sent people in to try to fix it, but it never worked. On the day before we were leaving, they said we could move to a different room, but we didn't want to pack up our suitcases and take everything to a different room when we would be leaving just one day after. Also, the shower was difficult to use. On our final night, my husband figured out how to get hot water instead of barely-warm water that we had been using for the previous four nights. The room was really large, and they provided a free yoga mat, block, exercise ball and other items. The room was quiet; we never heard anyone else around us.

Room reeked of smoke even though it was nonsmoking. TV was disabled. Wife has Compromised immune response so checked out shortly after checking in. Front desk said we wouldn’t be charged. Anniversary night stay ruined and then I find out they charged me anyway.

incredibly disappointed with our stay. After we checked in and went to room we realized the air conditioning wasn't working. Staff said they were working on it. By next morning when we asked they said they didn't know when it would be fixed. Room temperature never went below 84 degrees. They said they weren't giving guests any adjustments because we should have been contacted by Travelocity to make other arrangements for us. This definitely was not the case! No one contacted us about anything. Also, on numerous occasions we asked that the room be made up, but no one ever came. We were stuck in a sweltering, unmade room for three days. Not one staff member inquired as to how we were or apologized for the the massive inconvenience. This was an awful experience and I really feel we should be reimbursed and/or compensated by EVEN Hotel or Travelosity for this disaster , What should have been a fun vacation in Pittsburgh became one of the worst travel experiences ever. Please have someone contact us regarding how you will be handling this situation.
