Floor was dirty, rain drainage pipe runs down our wall and we thought a flood was about to happen, nosiness with cleaners in morning and overall cleanliness was lacking. Toilet loose connected to floor and elevator broke and office didn’t know it was not working until we told them.

I like that the hotel was within walking distance of the beach and surrounding restaurants and shops. Hotel also provided other nice items in the room such a keurig machine and bathroom items that you wouldn’t normally find. I did not like how thin the walls were in the rooms but other than that everything was great.

We checked in Friday night. I was so tired I accidentally locked the bathroom door and closed it. I called the front desk and was told they do not have a master key and if I needed to use the bathroom I needed to go downstairs to the lobby, as well as maintenance was going to be coming at 7am Saturday morning to fix it. Well nobody came. We had to use a credit card to unlock it so we could go to the bathroom in our own room. Went to the front desk two times on Saturday because our TV wasn’t working. We were told, both times, they will let maintenance know. Again, no one came by to look at our TV. Went to the desk on SUNDAY morning and we were able to get maintenance to come by our room and fix the TV, FINALLY. Early Monday morning (the day we checked out) the fire alarm started to go off for no reason at 4am!! Are you kidding? At least I know it works, right?? There is NO place to park. There are only about 10 parking spots on the ground level under the hotel. If those are all full you have to parallel park and might have to walk a while. I was not asked how my stay was when leaving or else I would have said something then, but the nice gentleman was juggling me checking out and the phone. (Not his fault).

Parking was not great. No option for maid service. Breakfast was almost non-existence. Room wasn’t well thought out. Bathroom door didn’t fully open without forcing it past the toilet. The water hook-up at bathroom sink was backwards. Mini fridge door didn’t open fully due to cabinet door opening the wrong direction. The patio door was difficult to open/shut and the locking mechanism was difficult to use.

We do want to let the public know that we have partnered with the City of Isle of Palms to offer additional parking at no extra charge. As for the discrepancies you found in your room, we would like to sincerely apologize. The inspection process was not followed to our standards and we will use this feedback for improvement.
